Why moms are awesome...

... and also a little out of touch with how publishing actually works.

Love you, mom! You'll always be my #1 fan! (And I yours.)

  1. I love your mom. I'll go to New York with you with my boxing gloves. :)

  2. Ha ha. How about we just meet for coffee when you're in Toronto to sign a book deal for your next novel? You are writing a next one, right Tara? Your fans are waiting!

  3. I'd love to say I am, but I've been working on children's stories this year (for iPad). I miss writing a novel. I think it's my favourite thing to do. I think Nanowrimo killed me last year and I'm still recovering. I need to find some sort of happy medium between taking 1 month to write a novel and taking 10 years.

    1. Nanowrimo seems like a sure-fire way to go insane. I would never be able to handle that! So cool that you're writing kids books! But you are an excellent adult fiction writer so I really hope you write another novel.

    1. Heh heh. Yeah. And the best part? It was totally unprompted. I hadn't written her about my book at all. This just showed up in inbox.
